Anyone else get eerie vibes from the Purge?

Not just the movies but the TV series as well just chills me to the bone because it’s like yeah it’s fiction but sometimes scary as it sounds I can almost see some people in governments maybe leaning towards thinking the purge is a good Thing they could actually see the positive in it I don’t know I just makes me feel Erie all over even watching the TV show little on the movies thinking how society if they tipped the scale will just go down hill so fast anybody else like the show regardless?
